We’re a small, independent removals team based in Poole, serving customers across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch and the wider BCP area.
Hi, I’m Vlad, founder of
Caritas Removals.
I started Caritas because I saw how stressful moving can be when customers do not know who is coming, how much the job will really cost, or whether their home will be treated with care.
For us, a good move is not just “getting things from A to B”. It is about turning up when agreed, protecting the property before loading starts, handling furniture properly, and keeping the customer informed from start to finish.

Home Protection
Before loading starts, we take care around floors, doorways, corners and furniture. The aim is simple: reduce the risk of scuffs, dents and avoidable damage during the move. This is especially important for rental properties, where deposit disputes can happen because of small marks left behind on moving day.
No Surprise Bill
We provide a clear, itemised quote upfront. Before the booking, we check the details that usually affect time and cost: parking, stairs, lifts, carry distance, extra stops, dismantling and the size of the inventory. If anything extra is needed, we explain it and agree it before the move begins.
Arrival Window
Promise
We agree an arrival window before moving day and keep you updated if anything changes. If we miss the agreed window without notice, you get 10% off the first hour of labour. Moving is stressful enough. You should not be left waiting around all day wondering what is happening.
Fully Insured
Handling
Caritas Removals is fully insured with Goods in Transit and Public Liability cover. Proof of insurance can be provided on request, so you can book with confidence.
How we protect your move
Before arrival
We confirm the key details before arrival: pickup and drop-off addresses, floors, stairs or lifts, parking access, item list and any fragile or awkward items.
On moving day
On moving day, we load carefully, use protective blankets where needed, stack items safely in the van and unload with attention to room placement and access.
For larger moves
For larger moves, we can also help with packing support, standard dismantling/reassembly and move planning through our Essential, Comfort and VIP packages.
